“She Sounds amazing” – SA reacts to Penny Ntuli’s first day on the new job

Radio personality Penny Ntuli, upset social media users when she revealed how much Gagasi FM offered to pay her per show. Heading online, the media darling revealed that they were only offering her R2800 per month, or R711,98 per show.

Many social media users slammed the KwaZulu-Natal-based radio station following her revelation. Shortly after her story broke, she was offered a job at Jozi FM, and judging by the reaction on social media to her first show, she is well on her way to success.

Penny Ntuli’s R2.8K GAGASI FM story catapults her to success. Gagasi FM, a radio station in KwaZulu-Natal, became trending after presenter Penny Ntuli announced her resignation.

According to Penny, who posted a lengthy open letter on social media, she decided to leave after being offered only R2800 per month.
The stated amount was for the graveyard show on Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00.

“It has been an incredible two years there. I am honored to be considered one of the talents who have been given the opportunity to showcase their talents once more in the new season on your platform.

“However, the salary of R2 800 per month on my offer letter or contract is not something I can sustain my life with,” Ntuli wrote in her resignation.

The admission stunned social media users as they debated the salary offer and how “unreasonable” it is.
Gagasi FM quickly topped trend lists and threatened legal action against Penny for disclosing the offer they had sent her. Despite this, the Johannesburg-based radio station Jozi FM offered the young presenter a job.

Going online, she explained how she booked an early flight. She also expressed excitement for the new opportunity.

“I awoke at 5 a.m. today. I’m excited for my first day at work. She wrote, “Please welcome me to Jozi FM 105.8 (Channel 878 on DStv).

Jozi FM has also used social media to officially welcome Ntuli: “Welcome to a new era of engaging conversations! Join us as the dynamic. Penny Ntuli takes over the Mid-Morning Chatshow at Jozi FM for the first time.

“Prepare for exhilarating discussions, new perspectives, and endless inspiration! “Let the journey begin,” the station stated.
