Khanya Mkangisa is reportedly getting ready to go down the aisle following her engagement to Desmond Williams. According to a source, the new mother and her beau are keeping their engagement a secret.
“I think they are aiming for summer wedding but knowing how cagey this couple is, they can go to Home Affairs and just announce that they married,” said a source.
Williams is the ex-husband and baby daddy of Mawe Vundla, a socialite and sister of model Tshepi Vundla. Mfundi Vundla, the creator of Generations: The Legacy, has nieces named Mawe and Tshepi Vundla. Tshepi is in a long-term relationship with rapper Tabure Thabo Bogopa Junior (JR), and the couple has two children together.
The clean technology innovator and former YoTV broadcaster began dating in 2022.
AS A FIRST-TIME PARENT
In February of this year, the former Unmarried actress announced the birth of her first child, a baby boy.
Khanya revealed her pregnancy during an interview with Nounouche.
“We couldn’t believe it when we found out. It’s amazing how you can still be surprised even if you were expecting something else. “I cried because you never know what the universe and God have planned for you.”I’ve been crying a lot during my pregnancy because it’s so emotional… “Every day, I couldn’t believe I was baking a whole human,” Khanya explained.
Speaking of her infant, she said, “I want him to know that he is loved because when he feels that he is loved, he will have the confidence to be the best version of himself, whatever that is and whatever he chooses for himself.
“I guess what makes it easier is knowing I waited to have a child. I waited a long time, and the last thing I wanted was to have regrets. Now I feel fulfilled; I have completed my purpose. I have lived my life. I have traveled. There is always room for more. But then you realize: who says you can’t do such things? But for the most part, I’ve attempted to fulfill all of my aspirations in the greatest way possible.”
